Bokkeryers

Bokkeryers play at the Muziekgieterij on 10 September. This is the new project of Pablo van de Poel (DeWolff), his brother Vince, ten years his junior, and Jordan Faber. The idea was born at a table in Gasterie de Bokkeryer in Sweikhuizen: why is there still no Limburgish-language metal band telling the stories of the 18th-century bandits who flew through the South Limburg night on billy goats? Musically, this has little to do with DeWolff. It is rock-hard doom, sludge and thrash, with Limburgish lyrics full of punk attitude, humour and self-mockery.
