Lollo Meier: Gypsy Jazz

Gypsy swing guitarist, composer, bandleader and arranger Lollo Meier has played with great legendary guitarists such as Fapy Lafertin, Hank Marvin of The Shadows and his cousin and contemporary Stochelo Rosenberg. Lollo grew up in an elite family of gypsy musicians. Lollo's style is inspired by the music of Django Reinhardt and is at once traditional, melodious, sensitive and cheerful. He composes a great deal of new material in this gypsy jazz style; his honey-sweet compositions have a refreshingly authentic Django touch and he plays guitar with extraordinary virtuosity. Lol
