Midwife

Madeline Johnston is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist and recording engineer, currently based in southern Colorado. Her project Midwife began in 2014 when she was a resident of the beloved DIY space Rhinoceropolis in Denver, where she spent over a decade honing her sound. On stage, Johnston is known for her spare, emotionally charged experimental pop music that can bring a room to silence.
