In 2026, too, thousands of monuments across the Netherlands will open their doors free of charge to visitors during the VriendenLoterij Open Monuments Day. On 12 and 13 September the event celebrates its 40th edition, with the central theme 'Resilient heritage, in times of uncertainty'.
