Shirma Rouse -- Soul in the Park

The amazing voice of Shirma Rouse could already be heard last year with Sven Hammond at the Openluchttheater Valkenburg. Now she returns with her own ten-piece band. Soul in the Park is her ode to her Caribbean roots, where soul and reggae naturally come together. With The Fratteli's and a strong horn section, Shirma performs songs by Bob Marley, Doe Maar, Billy Ocean, Aretha Franklin and Chaka Khan, among others, complemented by her own work. A warm soul and reggae vibe under the stars.
