Vincent Kusters and Roger Braun - Dichterliebe (Robert Schumann)

Baritone Vincent Kusters returns once again to the Openluchttheater this year for an enchanting Sunday morning. This time he performs the song cycle Dichterliebe by Robert Schumann, with pianist Roger Braun at his side. Dichterliebe consists of sixteen romantic songs that Schumann composed in 1840 to poems by Heinrich Heine, taken from his Lyrisches Intermezzo. Roger Braun is regarded as one of the Netherlands' leading song accompanists.
